What is PMS?
PMS Exam Stand for Provincial Management Service. As per the order of the Government of the Punjab-Pakistan, these services existed on 17 JANUARY, 2014. The Purpose of PMS exams establishing these services to control and improve the directorate structure in the provinces. Here below you will find the complete PMS 2021 exams details.

PMS Officer newly appointed is as under:

PMS officer are considered to be important element in the top level directorate of the province and they performs multiple duties like Tehsil, District, Division and another important post in Punjab Province. Punjab public service commission conducts these exams to ensure that capable candidates posted in the various posts of Punjab Province. As per policy PMS Officers appointed in Scale BS-17 then get promoted to Scales like BS-18, BS-19, and BS-20 in Future.

PMS Exam Eligibility Criteria 2021
Graduation degree in any discipline with second division from a well recognized University by HEC (Higher Education Commission); Male, Female and Transgender applicants can apply for the PMS test holding Punjab Domicile.
Those candidates who are fresh graduates or already job holder candidates are also eligible for PMS test in PPSC(Punjab Public Service Commission). A candidate must have Master’s degree or Bachelors degree (4 years) or LLB from a recognized university for PMS test serving under the government of Punjab.
PMS Compulsory Subject List
PMS Test includes Compulsory & Elective subjects. There are total six compulsory subjects and each subject contain 100 Marks.
Compulsory subjects consist of both subjective and objective type exams. There is elective subject combination for candidate and the candidates shall take three of the Optional subject. The details of PMS Compulsory subjects are given below:

The minimum standard for the question papers will be of Graduate Level.
A candidate Shall Have To Obtain 40% Marks In Each Paper and 50% Marks In The aggregate I.E. 600 Marks To Qualify For an Interview. Thereafter, A candidate Shall Also Secure 50% Marks In The Interview To Be Held Eligible For the Final merit List Of Successful Candidates
PMS Test Age Limit 2022
- Age for appearing PMS test is 21 t0 32 years old
- Maximum 10 years relaxation in upper age limit shall be allowed as per Punjab Civil Servants Recruitment (Relaxation of Upper Age Limit) Rules, 1976.
- Federal Government who are domiciled in the Punjab as well as the officials serving in connection with the affairs of the Punjab Government having at least 4 years service as such, the upper age limit shall be 35 years.
